OnePlus 3 coming on June 14!
OnePlus has already confirmed that it will be unveiling the OnePlus 3 in virtual reality, and it recently gave out free Loop VR headsets to anyone who asked for one. However, the Chinese startup didn’t tell us when its event would take place.
But it seems one representative has leaked that information early. “The OnePlus 3 will be fully revealed on June 14th through our VR launch experience but you can still watch it without a headset,” they told one customer.
We’re still waiting for OnePlus to confirm this, but we knew the launch event would happen relatively soon, so this seems like a plausible date. It will also give OnePlus an opportunity to steal some of the limelight from Apple’s announcements at WWDC the day before.
According to recent reports, the OnePlus 3 will pack a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, up to 4GB of RAM, and up to 64GB of internal storage. It is also expected to have NFC unlike its predecessor, and a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera.
What most fans want to know is when the OnePlus 3 will be available to purchase, and whether or not you’ll need an invite to get one. OnePlus should confirm all this during its unveiling, so it seems we don’t have too long to wait now .
